final bus advert

 during the process of using after effects to create an advert for a bus television to attempt to get more people to join this course as-well as making the college more popular as a whole

using the 3d layer of after effects we controller the camera to move from image to image with movie clips playing such as arrows and patterns to make it look allot better than we had originally planned.

adding effects to the images made it seem more likely for the images to catch the eye of the people in the local area such as moving them changing the shade and also rotating 

Although we both agreed to only use one i also 

created my own with a different ending although the one we worked on together was better i still decided to use it as blog meteral so it would show i have attempted a different idea and found out it didn't work which shows my skills of using after effects are growing as-well as using my skills in a different way

Additonal research

In some cases advertisements are placed within television shows in places like billboards and similar places in an almost subconcouse way for us to see it, so even if we do it know its there we would still have it in the back of our minds which at somepoint think about it a certain points.

The adverntisements are placed in other places such as tv shirts or in places just like bike or car racing and even in the olympics people are wearing adventisements from their sponsers and people who pay others for their logo's on the shirts for passers by to see.

in this film it is shown very openly directly to the people watching as a joke which would be very entertaining

in this case mc donalds is shown as more futureistic due to the time of the film being placed which is in the future, in the film the uniforms for mc donalds is more sexual and shown as a female place of work to which it may seem like there is a male based future.

This clip of the popular film fifth element was used to give the targeted male viewers sex appeals aswell as mixing it with a popular brand which the company most proberly used as an sponser for the film it is also fiven a future aspect of the diffrent colored hair the hats and even the outfist they work in.

 

the angry birds has been put on websites such as facebook and google so they can promote the game to be bought and also buying add ons within the game such as power ups exspantions and the game its self for devices such as ipod touches phones and tablets this could also bring more people to these websites just to play that game itselfs.

Bus Research

Adverts for educational facilitys of univeristys and colleges around the uk are used to show what you do in the courses and what the future may hold if they were to go to certain univeristy (law,medical. ect).


This is aimed at students coming out of secondary school or further educartion even some cases adults who need to take certain courses to get a job or further themself in their job sector.


Depending on what type of audiance they are aiming for the clip will be changed aswell as the audio to be more relevent to that age or gender (young - more modern music, older - larger wording older music)

Normally in advertisements logo's and contact details and at the beginning of the video or at the end sometimes they have the name of diffrent courses through out aswell as other features their college area has to offer (such as a coffe shop and other such things)


This video shows peoples happyness whilst being at college or feauther education which is shown by the movements of the people eg. spinning jumping, reacting to things around them aswell as the light linking each person  and their emotion throughout the video.

Evaluation/research - In advertisements sometimes a comedic side or ironic side of certain sitiations can help such as a park bench made into kit kat, the results of my survay showed having audio advertisements on a bus would disrubt their journey making an journey more unjoyable to those on the bus

bus adverts in the 1980's were mainly used to promote their new offers of older people getting on buses for cheaper in a comedic style although it is showing a time where bus rides were cheaper and newer it shows how much it has changed over the last thirty years aswells as the old women being funny which keeps the viewer intrested.



modern day video games are aimed at the new generation but in some cases such as this game it goes as far back as the fiftys where superheroes got their first stride which would make the fans of heroes and villans can interact and become one themselfs.


This advert shows how a world wide highly popular tv show can brand things that have been out almost just as much, using main characters makes it seem like they can link themselfs with the character and what their doing.
Cannon are using after effects to show the uses of of it in manipulation aswell as bringing forward the view that bring their photos to life by using 3d is the better way to enjoy them aswell as selling their profucts aswell as gaining the trust of some people with the way the advert is shown, the main message and visual language being promoted in this advert is the use of new 3D modern technology provided by Cannon.

pcad/citybus ideas and research

Using this trailer from a university to research on and hopefully give us more ideas although not being able to use weapons and horror because it will be shown to the public where younger children may see it and scare them which would be very very bad.

Using the process of an mind map to record our ideas and other aspects that we can place within our work to make it better or easier to do with the time we have or even find out flaws within our idea.

Our Main idea is to have current and fished work in after effects going across showing what we have done and are doing to increase our skill and still make it look fun with possible clips of us or others working with possible endings we have thought of lightning striking the screen and the PCAD logo spinning on the spot.

Our idea will be using a similar style to the video below:

using the process of trial and error we are going to try samples of each of our plans and decided which one would be the best to go forwards with.

our journey after effects

Using After effects to place and manipulate images and small movie clips in a practice manor for our city bus project which is helping us broaden our skills in after effects so we can do more complex and more detailed work using the program.

Once i had placed the images or clips into the area i wanted them i used the camera to make it seem the images were coming towards the person viewing it which makes it seem more 3d aswell as using text and a background with it aswell

Research into other artists

Andy Martin uses this style of motion graphics in a paper animation form to create three characters for a karrang TV ad, He has used a simple form of animation using paper to create the original characters then making them more cartoon like in possible a photo-shop program then has used flash, photo shop or after effects to animate them in a manor to look like they are playing music with a sound track added in to make it seem more realistic, he has made it into the genre (stereotype)
to do with the music channels choice of music videos they play in this case it is rock, metal etc 

Looking feather into the work it seems as if many are complicated and extremely high quality but he has kept to a simple style which is easier to do and as effective as more complicated work that some others have done.

Comparing Andy's latest work or his older work it shows his talent at making animations and videos have increased dramatically due to the funding his work gets, his works shows not all great animations and graphics works don't have to be too complicated or over done to look good or be effective.

Da vinci - one of this famous artists most popular painting is the mona lisa because it gives off mystery and the passion it seems he has put into each stroke of his brush althought some through he was crazy he continused painting into his death

His art work is highly desired by many fans but nearly all of his art works are in musiums in london france and many other places, although his

death was antisipated to those around him it made his art work grow so much more in price and collectors
would pay million for them, i choose this because to me it seem mysteriousness because no one knows why she is smiling but whilst looking a this it makes me think shes smiling at someone she cares about the painter maybe or just someone in the room? this links to my work because i liked the look of texture of the brush strokes among the colors that i could possible use as my own background in my after effects advert

picasso - His work on the weeping woman was truely breath taking although odd it seemed to me he was trying to show how even sadness can be abscure and confusing which was what i thought he was doing with this perticuler piece although it was been popular for so lojng evuentuly it will be forgotten as the new art begins to repalce the old

Throughout the most recent work we animated our own or an image from the internet to practice and learn how to use the puppet pin tool to move the arms legs chest and head of the character to create a movement of some sort.

using the simple click  and drag for movement we used a more complex feature

our lastes work showed us trying to move diffrent parts of an character in a manor to show how to creatre a flawless animation
